Top 10 Conveyancing is researched and reviewed by Steven Piper. He's based on the Gold Coast and has spent years helping Australian professional services firms with their online presence, which is where he saw how hard it is to tell a good conveyancer from a good advertiser. He checks each list against state licence and practising registers, Google reviews and each firm's own details before it goes up.
Why the site exists
Most people hire a conveyancer once every few years, often in a rush after an offer is accepted. The usual options are whoever the agent suggests, or whoever is at the top of the ads. Top 10 Conveyancing is meant to be a short, checkable alternative: a handful of well-reviewed local firms per city, each with the reasons it made the list.
How each list is put together
- Licensed conveyancers and settlement agents are looked up on their state's public register where it can be searched. Law firms are checked against the practising register where it's public.
- Google ratings and review counts come from Google and are refreshed regularly.
- Profiles only use facts we can check, such as the firm's own website and its Google listing. Where a source is unclear, we leave the claim out.
- Each city page shows the date it was last reviewed.
